Letter Meme

Comment and I'll give you a letter, then you have to list ten people/places/things you love that begin with that letter, afterwards post it on your journal and fill out letters of your own.

I was given the letter "I" by rideru_takaya

1.Irie Shoichi

I know why you gave me the letter I! ^^;;; If Irie didn't make it onto my "I" list, I'd be in trouble. He's a genius, he's got glasses, he's adorable, what more do you want? Well, I know what I want, but I’d rather not need to lock this entry.

2. Iced Tea

I am neither a sweetened nor unsweetened purist and treat all iced teas equally. =D An iced tea outside on a hammock in the cool breeze of a spring day would be very nice, please.

3. Irony

Irony is just an amazing form of comedy. It makes me laugh, and it makes me cry. Oh, the irony.

4. Illustrated Children's books

Like the ones you read when you were in elementary school. I just think that the pictures change some books into a whole new medium of art. When I was younger, sometimes I used to take longer looking at the pictures in some books than I did reading the words.

5. Insects

It's not that I love insects all that much, but it always surprises me how much other people dislike them. Therefore, when compared to the majority of people, I am an insect-lover. I especially think social insects are really interesting organisms, although bees scare me a lot.

6. In-paragraph citations

Please don't make me use footnotes. D=

7. Interior Decorating

I think most people view this as a sign of getting older, when you actually start to care about your wallpaper etc. I think it's a sign of boredom, but I hope the two are not related. =/

8. Iron Chef: Japan

I just love the idea of cooking as a sport. It's about as awesome as the idea of contact chess, except with more knives and more fire. "Allez Cuisine!"

9. Internet

You love it, you hate it, and you use it to check your e-mail...Yes, the internet was on my bad list for awhile over the lack of Sp51, but I'm running out of things that start with "I".

10. Indigenous species

If only because invasion ecology is a mess. Native species need more love and less competition.
  • this icons for you

Your list is awesomely creative~! Haha, I knew you'd put Sho-chan in there~!

Ahaha, internet. I think Sp51 exists out there. It's just not quite as explicit as you'd like. XD
    • Re: this icons for you

yaaay! Sp51 icon! =D When I actually figure out how to make a layout, I'll get a paid account, and then I can have more than six icons.

Hey, there's not nearly enough, explicit or not. ^^;; I don't think that's too much to ask the internet.
  • I've been caught!

    *contributes to Sp51 icon-nage as well* ;D

    Very nice list! C': Haha, I remember that I wouldn't read a book unless it had a lot of pretty pictures in it every once in a while. x'D *still kinda does that* 8);;
    • Re: I've been caught!

=D aw. I love your icon! It's adorable! I'm also glad I'm not the only one that still likes picture books. =D I mean, I understand that as adults, we're supposed to be boring and not like pictures, but...
  • Yes! Iron Chef!

    I'd like a letter, please! :D
    • haha. I love Chairman Kaga. hmmm, I think you'll get the letter.... "M". That seems like a nice letter. Nice and symmetrical. ^^;;
  • (no subject) -
    • After being subjected to all that garlic mustard and honeysuckle in Indiana I'd feel ashamed if it wasn't.

        • Haha. My icon likes your icon very much. I did have to climb through a lot of it. I was on the invasive species removal squad for my gym credit. XD

Alright. I'll give you the letter... K!
  • Oh that Sho-chan, so Nerdy and great.

Letter Please! Anything but Q cuz the only things I can think of are Queen, Q-bert and Quito.
  • I agree with you on Illustrated Children's Books. The pictures are certainly an art form. People can also recreate illustrations depending on their perceptions, and 'vision' of the story and characters.

    Iron Chef: Japan definitely rocks.

As a replacement for 'Internet,' there's always, 'Illustrated Children's Card Games!'

    • =D I think all the letters are equally hard, except X and Z. And maybe Q. How do you feel about a "P"?
